Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 27, 2026
1. Introduction
This policy describes how the NEXO9 app ("the App") handles information when you use it. NEXO9 is a logic game that runs entirely on your device. It does not require sign-up or an account.
2. Data we do NOT collect
We do not ask for or store your name, email, phone number, or any personally identifying information. Game progress (level, score, settings) is saved only on your device (local storage) and is never sent to any server of ours. The one exception is the daily-challenge push reminder: if you turn it on, we sync your daily streak and interface language to our database β see point 6.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Android version shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process data such as your device advertising identifier, approximate IP address, device information, and ad interaction data. This collection is carried out by Google, not by NEXO9. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
4. Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, before showing personalised ads we present a consent form managed by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), in line with the GDPR. You can revoke or change your choice at any time from the App's settings.
5. Children
NEXO9 is not primarily directed at children under 13. Ad content is limited to the "suitable for all audiences" (G) rating.
6. Daily reminder (push notifications)
You can get an alert so you don't lose your daily-challenge streak. When you grant the notifications permission, your device registers with Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) and we store in our database: your device's notification token, your current daily streak, whether you have already solved today's challenge, and your interface language β nothing that personally identifies you. Once a day, an automated process checks that data to decide whether to warn you that your streak is at risk or that today's challenge is still unsolved; if you already solved it, you get no alert. More on how Firebase handles this data at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
7. Permissions
The App uses internet access and network state to load ads and sync the push reminder, and the advertising identifier (AD_ID) for AdMob to work. The notifications permission is used to show you the daily-challenge reminder (see point 6). It does not access contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, or personal files.
8. Controlling your data
You can erase all progress from the game's settings or by uninstalling the App. You can reset or disable the advertising identifier from your Android device settings (Settings β Google β Ads). If you turn off the App's notifications from your device settings, we can no longer alert you and your token is deleted automatically as soon as Firebase marks it invalid.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The version in force, with its update date, will always be published here.
